Yummy Kerala Chicken ishtu/ stew is packed with spices and coconut milk 🥥

Ingredients

350gm of boned chicken. You can take boneless also but boned chicken will be tastier for chicken stew. chicken should be chopped small size
¼ cup chopped carrot
½ cup of potato
½ cup of thinly sliced onion
6 silted green chillies. If you need spicy you can add 2 or 3 green chilly extra. Here we are not adding much masala. The only thing we are adding is green chili, garam masala and pepper powder.
½ tsp ginger garlic paste
Curry leaves
½ cup of 1st extract of coconut milk
1 cup of 2nd extract coconut milk.
¼ tsp of cinnamon,
¼ tsp cloves,
¼ tsp cardamom
¼ tsp star anise
Salt to taste
½ tsp pepper powder
¼ tsp garam masala

Preparation

Next in a cooker add chicken, carrot, potato and green chilli ¼ tsp garam masala ¼ tsp salt add water. Water should be very little water only for cooking those vegetable and chicken. Then cook for 2 whistle and let the steam go by natural Next slightly grind all spices to enhance the flavor The chicken and vegetables are cooked properly after 2 whistles Next heat a pan with some coconut oil Then add spice and heat it for a minute Then add ginger garlic paste Add onion and little salt. This helps to cook onion fast Add curry leaves Add Chicken and vegetables Next add 2nd coconut milk into that and allow to boil If needed add salt and pepper into the curry Allow to boil Cook the chicken and vegetables in cooker for only 2 whistles otherwise it may mash Once it is boiled add 1st coconut milk into that Before boiling the 1st coconut milk we need to off the stove Now we can transfer this curry into a serving dish
